Increasing impacts of Women Entrepreneurship in small towns. Pawani Khandelwal is the founder of Aatm Nirbhar, a social venture. She is a serial and social entrepreneur who started her first non-profit to educate kids from the BoP when she was 13.
Truly passionate about creating impact at the grassroot level in the Indian Society she started Aatm Nirbhar in 2017. Aatm Nirbhar is on the mission to build a nationwide woman-driven community that employs women from marginalised families to help up-skill other women. It is currently operating in the form of two-wheeler drivings schools enabled by female trainers in Mathura, Bharatpur and Jaipur.
Pawani has studied social entrepreneurship at Indian School of Business, National University of Singapore and Tsinghua University, Beijing. She has been privileged to represent India at multiple social entrepreneurship programmes and conferences like World Economic Order, Start-UP Asia Berlin, Ashoka Changemakers, etc in different parts of the globe.
