Farshid Ghyasi talks about his journey as an Afghan IT Entrepreneur. He landed in Kabul end of 2005 and he started his IT company in 2005 when there were only few IT companies in the country.

He talks about the challenges he faced and how he made the largest IT company in Afghanistan with $400 investment.

Farshid is the Founder and CEO of NETLINKS Ltd, a leading software development and services company in Afghanistan. He has a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management from International Islamic University of Malaysia, and a Master’s degree in E-Business Management from the International University of Japan.

Farshid established NETLINKS Ltd in early 2005 as one man company and has now grown to 150+ employees and is one of the largest software development and IT services company in Afghanistan. Farshid also established the first online jobs portal in Afghanistan (www.jobs.af)
