Awesome Tip: Winning = Content Quantity + Comment Quality | Traffic Builders Fireside Chat

A lot of businesses have their measurements of success backward. They make a small amount of “high quality” content in hopes that it gets them a high quantity of likes and comments. If you flip the quality and quantity around and produce a high volume of content in hopes for high-quality comments and feedback, that will give you much better insights on your audience and ultimately help you improve your brand image which is becoming increasingly more important every day. In this fireside chat, Gary talks about this topic in-depth and takes many other questions from the audience. Be sure to check the comments for all the timestamps… Enjoy!

  3. they allready do though, the community surrounding nintendo games is killing the game… but nintendo with their dev talks seem to be killing it too… its a hard ballance to strike, i get where he is comming from, that lighthearted content to get into the hearts of people, but mario has been around for so long… its allready in the hearts and minds! Nevermind the developer interviews that are published online, nintendo is killing it allready in their own nintendo way!

  4. OMG I seriously love you so much! Your no bullshit attitude literally lights the fire under my ass everyday! I have been a little worry wort for years and lost thousands of dollars trying to protect my team only to find thieves and embezzlers in my own group. What a pitty! I would have done anything for them, but my point is I listened to family and what I thought were friends. Now that I have become the "BITCH" so to speak and on every penny I lost staff but I gained my integrity and power back!
    THANK YOU!

  5. Technology will rob you of your freedom to choose, eventually.
You said it yourself with self-driving cars choosing to dodge pot holes.
Not taking away choices per se, but by making you believe you've made those choices in the first place.
    Make sense?
A great advantage for the gatekeepers of the information, wouldn't you say?

  6. Dont hate me for disagreeing with you, but my concern with short social media content platforms is that they are less likely to maintain long term. Facebook grew long term by becoming a family network, long relationships and long posts and conversations. Youre seeing younger people going for social media that only requires short attention spans, but most of these will change each generation. Twitter is an exception to the rule because it is based on celebrity power, like a PR news for celebrities. Its a winner take all economy. Twitter took a monopoly but even they struggle when compared to longer attention span meaningful social networks. I support disruptive technology because we need to overthrow the winner take all economy.

  7. Hey man,
Look I'm a 22 college student going to Texas Tech, as can see from my profile I am running a local media company called What's New Lubbock. I basically was broke and needed to develop a company I could run without putting any money down and I made this. After booking a show, picking up a hand full of clients, & stepping into the video production field… I've decided to start a "modern news" department to the company. I guess I'm kinda curious to what you would think would be the appropriate next step? I honestly try not to ask for advice that often, especially like this.. but i have yet to find a solid mentor and I know you don't get anywhere by doing nothing. Thanks.

  8. It's a shame you have no idea of the mindset of artistic people. Either you are artistic or you have business savvy and profit from others talents. Spending time using business tactics to get ahead can take up your whole day, but how does an artistic person learn how to do both. Well most artistic people can't find enough time to work on their craft be it in the visual work or the audio world. How can you get them to also spend time on marketing?
Let's take that idea and explore it. What could you say to help others develop their craft and give them ideas at the same time to profit from their talents. The best way is to find someone who is just as dedicated in their craft (ie. an musician teaming up with a business minded person who is more interested in money than in art) The 2 together make a good fit, but what if you could figure out a way to give the musician or artist a way to still spend most of their time developing their craft and still do marketing to build their business. That would be the way to go to help others to help themselves.
Not sure if you're the kind of person who is just interested in themselves, or have a global attitude to help others achieve their goals.
If I can help you help others that in itself would be a monumental accomplishment.
We need a better world where we all help each other. I don't see that here…

  9. 8 minutes in…. very good branding talk, and good capitalist ambition outlook….Yet, all in all, I believe this smart guy has been compromised….Forget privacy huh? Who would not want any sense of privacy whatsoever? Who in the hell would say, hey i want every part of my life on view, who needs privacey….I smell a compromised person… esp at 10 minutes with the handsign gestures,..Bring on the new world buddy! what kind of super smart damn idiot says that privacy is not necessary and encourage people with that energy?
