Awesome Tip: Why Showing Your Insecurities Is a Good Idea | DailyVee 426

I think that a lot of you are trying to hide insecurities that your family, friends, or coworkers have imposed upon you which is actually making you more insecure as a result of keeping it a secret. If you were to just make your insecurities public on Instagram, on Facebook, on YouTube, etc. you would feel liberated by the fact that you don’t have anything to hide anymore…

Really enjoyed getting to spend the day in Toronto to give a quick keynote and drop the Crushing It! edition of my GaryVee 001s! Let me know what you thought about this vlog being a bit more long-form than normal! Your comments are my oxygen!!!

  1. 15:50 that guy deserved the straight line instead of the autograph. How rude to interrupt someone while they are LISTENING to Gary V. I wouldn't even bother the person next to me while he's speaking. Take your chances on having conversations or approaching the man Gary V himself during intermissions/breaks. There's a reason he was so easy to get to… he was SPEAKING and it was NOT an appropriate time to get his autograph…. dude was smart and he "got after it" by walking up to the stage like that but if the price to get someones autograph is to disrespect them and their audience while doing it…. that's a bad play in my opinion. /rant

  2. Your insecurities make others feel good, about themselves and their own insecurities, Once you are able to unload them off your shoulders… (They) everyone else, don't have shit on you! you are now free and a fret to those who still hold onto or can't let go of their insecurities.

  3. My secret became my prison. Fear of anyone caused me to hide for years. I blamed an abusive step dad and a absent mother. Now I live out loud building a brand to inspire others they are worth more than the past they didn’t cause! My first published book, Backwards, How to live forward. I wrote and produced a tv pilot Just Brett and Lilly w/Robert Davi (Goonies) #justbrettandlilly #bretthayworth
I fight fear daily and I over come by helping others. Personal growth only helps you when you help others. Otherwise you’re just selfish.

  4. So true!!! I failed so hard, so many times, so publicly. I discovered I was trying to succeed for everyone else. Now that I've learned to silence the voices, this journey has become more fun and I am more determined than ever. Thank you thank you thank you. P.s. Gary believes in 40 year olds??? I'm 40 and all I have heard from Gary until this video is that I'm fucked. I didn't believe that part but believed everything else he said. Now he said I'm good. Whatever, just another voice to silence. Thanks for everything Gary!!!
