  1. As someone who wanted to be Jerry McGuire as a kid, I liked seeing Gary maneuver the combo of sports and marketing in this video. For the question of the day, I would say my favorite young athlete right now is Jose Altuve from the Astros… beyond being a great player, he's got swag and momentum going his way after this big year. I can imagine he is getting a ton of sponsorship deal flow coming his way right now, especially as a bilingual Latino in Houston.

  2. Have to say my favorite young athlete is myself. Not to be a cocky A-hole, but because I've been able to watch the story right from day 1. I compete in Biathlon which involves cross country skiing and marksmanship and am constantly floating on or off the Canadian national team. I have by no means reached my Olympic goals (damn close twice) but I grind every hour of every day to make it a reality! I control the outcome (besides some genetic "luck" at the most elite level) and am willing to put in the work to make it happen. I love the sport so much…picture following an athlete documentary or nike ad but you decide and live the plot! Hustle hard my friends; especially in athletics you may only have this window! Gary thanks for the wisdom and inspiration, my attitude made a complete paradigm shift a few months ago when I started listening to your bad ass wisdom!

  3. Gary, Gary, Gary! The conversation you had with this young man and his family is spot on. Luckily he has a Dad who get's it. 90% of athletes don't! Before You Go Pro, is starting these conversations at a younger age, because the leverage you talk about is available to these athletes in high school, college and professionally, just on different scales. And they have no damn idea! Keep pumping the content boss and helping the world. Good shit!

  4. Hi guys, I'm an 18 year old instagram influencer/artist/photographer based in Dubai! Check me out on @melzarts and DM me if you want to talk/collaborate/work together

  5. Odell Beckam Jr. – I think he's lost right now & needs Gary Vee perspective & gratitude. I feel like you could impact his life & career exponentially. & in reverse it would impact your brand growth. That would be epic if you could now hack & make that happen

  6. 1:35 Unfortunately Gary the NCAA makes all athletes sign away using your likeness to make ANY money. I was a former college football player and I ran into this…. So frustrating especially since they used my likeness in video games!
