If you want to have a winning mentality and finally take your mindset to the place where it needs to be, you need to make the switch between optimism and pessimism… So much of our lives is predicated on how we look at the situations that surround us, which is why I have no idea how so many of you could put yourself in a position where you view everything in a negative light. 1. I disliked purely because every second word was a curse, like man, I agree with you, but don't put people down for getting a nice watch or a starbucks coffee, it's called self care, not every one is obsessed with money, and you can still burn out. Life is hard, but it's easier with a positive attitude, that should be the only message this sends other wise it just sounds like you're putting people down for trying to do something nice for themselves.

  2. 3:003:04 that's me! And im not ashamed of me; coz I know its really me! You tought me how not to be me are.. (Its easy to complain than to work) that's how you made me realise how to fix what I am doing in my life now! Thanks for this short advice! Godbless!

  3. So I stopped complaining and still feel like crap. Now everyone is wondering why I never talk…WTF. Seriously, I'm not looking for expensive watches, just looking to pay my bills and clothe my kids. I"m willing to work my ass off and if need be 60 hours a week. I'll shovel pig crap if I could make enough doing it. I've worked for so many companies that are dishonest and I don't want to do that. Still looking….

  4. I don't think this is a comment on peoples right to feel their emotions. I think its about realizing all that you have. I don't think Gary wants people to come away from this feeling guilty. I think he wants people to come away from it being grateful, realizing that its only yourself in the way of what you want, and deciding to stop complaining. its not about shutting down your negative emotions or pretending you're not mentally ill if you have depression or something. its about not wasting energy acting like you don't have the power to change your life, or chasing something that won't actually mean anything to you once you get it. thats what I got from it anyways.
