  1. I need to cut my Mum out from my life again. She snuck back in after I realized this but I think a lot of things have gone down hill since then. Everyone successful I've ever seen has had that one person that backed them up completely. I have yet to find a single example that shows the reverse.

  2. I'm going real deep right now inside myself to finally, truly begin to fix my issue. It's not I haven't tried before, but right now feels different. I'm not crying over it, or whatever. I feel scared, and anxious for no reason along with that existential vertigo but I don't know, I feel hopeful. I think I just have this belief now that life should be good… Damn, I've had tension and pain in my head 24/7 for the past 8 years… Originally it was way worse, like crazy. Pain from head to toe, burning sensation under my skin, constant fear, panic, anxiety, insomnia, etc… I always say it's impossible I made it through that. I've thought about deleting this post about 10 times already, but damn, fuck it ! I need to open the valve…

  3. This spoke to me on so many levels. I'm currently in the process of building my first house. My biggest motivator has been to get out of my parents' house and away from my mom. I have lots of love for her, but she's definitely held me back and brought so much negativity into my daily routines. I'm looking forward to closing next month and moving in, just so I can feel that moment of relief. Thanks for being such an inspiration, Gary!

  4. Disconnecting from negative influences is one part… The other one is CONNECTING to positive ones, like watching Gary's vids. This taught me so much about being positive and how to treat everyone else around me.

  5. The hardest thing I've ever had to do was "break up" with my Dad and Mom and their family for the last 6 years, in order to pursue film making. But now, after practice and putting more of my work out there, they started asking ME for HELP and how I'm so happy.

Its funny what a little Persistence can do for you.

Happy Easter Everyone! 🙂 Thanks Gary, I am excited to one day sit down with you face to face and talk about my journey with you. I want to learn from the very best!!

  6. Wow, I had to break up with a negative best friend of 17 years this past year. Such a great decision. It's amazing how much joy I feel when I limit how much time in my life negative people get. I've also had to have some frank discussions with someone in my family, while I didn't want to cut them off, I knew I needed to address the negativity and create some boundaries. I'm not a garbage can to be dumped in. Also, life is too short and there's too much beauty to be focusing so much on the negative all the time. Thanks for the post Garyvee!

  7. Unfortunately don't think my friends with anxiety would take this advice because of their anxiety. Maybe even say "you wouldn't know how to help, you don't have anxiety." What do you say to those people?
