This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. No longer is the woman farmer in Africa, Latin America, or the Caribbean a voiceless peasant. She is determined, knowledgeable, and confidently changing her country’s food landscape. The faces of these women are the new faces of agriculture in the world’s lesser developed economies.

Fulbright from the US to Senegal, 2002. Entrepreneur, 3Psourcing. Marlene supports women farmers and local food processors to develop their small businesses in a socially responsible way so that they develop their own communities to ensure food security, health, water and land.
