Women have been a victim of patriarchal society for ages. Till date, some people believe that women entrepreneurs will not go a long way and cannot be as successful as their male counterparts. Ms. Divya Rathore the founder of ‘ Silvery Nanos ‘ proves everyone wrong and clears this misconception in this insightful and inspiring talk. She is a student of NMIMS and also the founder of Silvery Nanos. “A creative way to keep bathroom clean.” Beside being a co-founder of this company she is also the winner of chancellor challenge 2018.
Her story started from 10th STD when she published “Plastic degradation from bio-degradation.” She then quit M.B.B.S and got into research. She got an invitation from Oxford and Newton Scholarship. As a first year student she received the title of “Student of the Year” and got honored with PDD Desai Trophy. In second year she became the Secretary of Bhavans Association of Microbiologist.She was selected in summer school 2014 where top 50 students all over from Maharashtra were taken on basis of their invention.Her invention was – “safety belt for women’’ She got selected in ICMR under director where only 2 seats were available on an all India basis.She was recently selected by high commission of India, Singapore for exhibiting her products in Singapore as a part of India Singapore summit.
