Here’s Great Tip: How entrepreneurs can change society – the story of Honest Tea: Seth Goldman at TEDxMidAtlantic

Here is Something You Should See…

Seth Goldman is co-founder, President and TeaEO of Honest Tea, the company he co-founded in 1998 with Professor Barry Nalebuff of the Yale School of Management. An entrepreneur at heart, Seth started with lemonade stands and newspaper routes as a kid, created a non-profit urban service program, and nearly pursued a prize-winning biotechnology idea before he started Honest Tea in his kitchen.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

  1. Hi Seth, I was really inspired by your talk. It's not the first time that I am hearing your story, but rather than getting tired of it, it it gets more interesting and more motivating every time I hear it. Thanks for giving me the motivation and conviction to start my own business. Thomas

  2. What's the "natural flavor" now added to Assam black tea? All I get from your reps is that it's organic and proprietary for either a preservative or flavor enhancer. Doesn't feel honest since coca-cola bought the company.

  3. I, for one, am grateful for Honest Tea!  I've been drinking the Honest Kids water (that's right, don't judge me!) for about five years now.  My son just turned five last month.  I started giving it to him shortly after I started drinking them, he was about 7-9 months old!  Thank you for giving someone like me, who hates plain water, a healthier option!
