  1. Gary's perspective is 1000% correct… You can give your perspective… You can disagree with it…But you can't ignore it… Most of the successful people on earth you heard are the most school failure… If you disagree with him..then you may know….He is talking about the millionaire… And you are talking about average….

  2. Students study because there is something at the end .. the marks
And workers work hard to get their salary at the end of the month .. Same logic If you wanna be a Entrepreneur you have to study your way not the way people are asking you to do it …

  3. The most important things in life can't be learned at school. An entrepreneur has a flexible and dynamic mind, an entrepreneur make things happen with intelligence, an entrepreneur sees everything through his own eyes.
Well, school doesn't require these quality and nor doesn't give them to you in any way.
School just tests your ability to emulate what they have forced you to learn and they translate this ability in marks.
Every single entrepreneur-like minded person and every single really intelligent person on earth will hate school. School want us just to be good at taking orders from others and to make us think all in the same way with the same notions.
I know a lot of people so good at school but so stupid in real life. They cannot solve problems that life put in front of them everyday! School requires just memory and a small mind, because a small minded person will learn every single notion they force you to learn, even if it's truthful and useful and even if it's not.

  4. What I learned after 20 years of school. English,, basic math, some geographical facts…and that´s pretty much it. Life has taught me so much the last 5 years going into entrepreneuship. Personal development, learning to handle feelings/emotions, understand basic mechanisms in the world, politics, the value of different things – "even" marketing and sales. Of course, these are things you learn if you develop yourself as an adult..but most people don´t because they follow the path laid out for them by the "system" so to speak. They are like Gary says, destined to become workers. And that´s what the system wanted us to become. But in the new economy and the new world, thats outdated. Too bad the school system and system in general won´t change – because it´s destroying so many kids futures. I dont even think the system wants to educate "workers" anymore come to think of it. Why would it? There is hardly any old school jobs left. You have to get out there and create something yourself. I´m gonna mentor and help my son with this, so that he wont waste 20 years of his life. I´m gonna teach him about the real world and never ever push him into doing meaningless homework. If he inherits my IQ , which he probably will do, he can be an average student withouth any effort.

  5. School is great, if you think you need school to get where you want. If you have a vision and you don't think you need school, then you absolutely don't. After you have a vision, key things you need are consistent action and persistence. Level of education doesn't fucking matter in business. Some people go to Ivy League schools but are fucking pussies, they'll never pull the trigger on risk. They are "too smart" for their own good.

  6. I don't understand the guys who just because gary said that, think that they'll make it because they suck at school or will tell fancy school graduates that they will be less successful then themselves. Get your shit right guys, Gary was born for entrepreneurship, he made money in his garage, he knew where he was going. Most of you guys should take school more seriously, cause in the marketplace, your chances are even lower.

  7. I spoke at my first cosmetology school on tuesday. 100 students. im telling my story and trying to help students not make the same mistakes i did , and DO the things i did right ( EQ). the 21 of aug i speak again. this time on [ IQ ] so cutting and coloring tequs. and not fucking stopping. im doing this because Gary helped me. he doesnt know he did. but if you see this man thank you.

  8. “School is failing entrepreneurs everyday because it’s not built for entrepreneurship. It’s built for workers. You’re being taught to play within the lines.”

All of this, and if you thinking he's exaggerating check out Dumbing Us Down or Weapons of Mass Destruction by John Taylor Gatto and Lies My Teacher Told Me by James W. Loewen.

  10. Im one of those kids who found school to be a breeze. Easy. All As in school with little effort. Stepping into the world of business was incredibly hard for me. Gary's completely right. In hindsight I wish I spent less time reading books and more time gaining real-life experience of the way the world ACTUALLY works.
