My "common sense" tells me that it would be a waste of time, and that by the time the "technology catches up" what was built will be antiquated and useless. Can you please tell me why I am wrong, and what the best strategy would be for someone who was interested in executing on the advice you gave to the guy at the end?

I understand that if one wants to win in the digital business, a lot of content is necessary to keep people hooked on their devices. And what I understand from his ambition lecture is that it should be built on the cost of your peace of mind. Simply tell me how a person can remain anxiety free and make conscious decisions when they take take take and just keep taking enormous amounts of information. I judge no one but this man has no idea about work/life balance or any balance in life.
