  1. Hey Gary, there comes a time when someone watching your videos (saying over and over, 'ive got to do it. i've got to do it) actually does fricken START something! This is where I am! I started a couple months ago. I'm making a my 90s-funk-pump-up-the-jam-fresh-prince inspired 90's arcade game. Im going to share my process, this is my first mobile game, and I'm not a gamer. this will be vulnerable. this will be fun. and the process, beautiful. Thank you squire. #hustle

  2. In regards to what Gary said about Speed > Quality:

When first starting out, is it better to create quality content that's more visually appealing to people, or more content that isn't as attractive?

With so many people on social media, it's hard to stand out. What do you guys think?

  3. Gary … yep quality is subjective … "somewhat". Some things are crap, no wiggle room. And then there's the floor for acceptance for things that have a purpose, below which they're sub quality and running counter to their purpose. Sound recording on video is a good example … your's aren't what most production pros will call "quality" and there's a clear space for improvement, but mostly now it's simply annoying when the levels bounce all over the spectrum and sometimes make it difficult to hear the dialogue. Hopefully you'll invest some money in a decent sound guy somewhere along the way, but obviously for your overall goal, for now it's working. On some of the earlier episodes the sound was crap, not subjectively but audibly … cause we couldn't hear the content! Guest with no mic, feeding in on your mic … crank up to hear, then you talk and blow the buds out of our ears and like that. Hopefully that's over, cause we want to heart the thoughts, concepts and ideas you're taking the time to record. Etc., … but we love the content and overall a great job, like you just said, as it grows bigger the game changes, plz put a sound guy on the consideration table …. Thank you for doing and sharing all this content with us …. you're #1 !!

  4. In a strange way…that last 9min was some of the best content that delivered the thesis, message and had me in stitches recreating what those scenes must have been like. also showed pure and good hearted bonding….
