Business Tips: Being Yourself Is Your Greatest Opportunity | Meeting with Charli D'Amelio
Awesome Tip: Being Yourself Is Your Greatest Opportunity | Meeting with Charli D'Amelio
We all see viral videos on social media and wonder how they blew up and what sort of secrets they used to gain so much traction. Gary sat down with viral TikTok user Charli D’Amelio and her family to talk about their experience after having one video explode on the platform. The biggest themes throughout the conversation are that nothing was intentionally done to make her videos go viral and that she was sharing her passion for dancing, which she has been practicing since she was 4 years old, with the world. She didn’t try to conform to a popular trend on TikTok or do what everyone else was doing. Charli just shared the thing she was passionate about and if you do the same, you can start building your own community and brand around what you enjoy.

Charli is so fucking annoying. Actually all tiktokers are nowadays. The dance moves are so cringe

He's just trying to stimulate & lead the conversation, great video!
So a year old dancing in her bed room, I can only guess what the comments are like, god burn ticktok down now.
let them finish talking pleaaaaseeeeeeeeeeee
btw Charli is at 34.6M followers on tik tok now
The best thing those sisters can do is create a brand and leverage there platform. So it last forever, instead of being watered down by multiple brands and becoming a puppet. And they should have nothing to do with the hypd house because it could lead to drug use
If you think about it Gary not only interrupts others' sentences but even his own.
The fact that people hate on you is NOT an indication of your value. It is an indicator that you touched them somehow and they are reflecting their issues back to you because they want what you have. The hate you get is a good thing because it tells you that you affected someone else, even though it feels bad. This family is wonderful.
That was on my b day last year
It's true what he said, it's refreshing to see this natural pretty girl having positive vibes instead of the kardashian divas wannabe. if you see it from a broader perspective the hype is not about her itself but what her popularity represents.
hi
Awesome video Gary!!
45:45 what app are they referencing?
Those girls are the Jenners and Kardashians of the next generation.
I watch Gary to see the person I’ll be later on in life!
So now i wonder if he knows that Jalaiah Harmon is the one who actually made up the Lottery Tik Tok dance but all that credit was given to Charli
How is she famous?
Forget the 2 girls I just want to get know the mom.
This was so interesting to watch and very inspiring to learn more about her story, background, and how she first blew up. I didn't realize it was her 15th video that went viral or that her friends would post her dancing on THEIR accounts, but even those videos of hers didn't go viral. This is just really fascinating. Thanks so much for interviewing them and sharing with us!
