Gary finds it fascinating that there are so many adults that think kids these days are entitled and soft, but they don’t even hold themselves accountable for raising them in that manner. Once we stop coddling the youth and handing out 8th place trophies, then we will see a shift in the mindset of the younger generations.

Gary.. this is awesome. Ty! I have a 14 year old and I hold her feet to the fire almost every day. I say things to her like, “be a woman of your word or you will attract exactly what you are dishing out and believe me when I tell you, you do NOT want to be surrounded by people who will lie to you to get whatever they want out of you.” She fights me and becomes insulted that I “called her a lier.” But eventually she comes around to reality, takes responsibility and shows it with acts of self respect. I believe Holding them accountable is the antidote.
The more i grow up the more i see why mental disorder is such a taboo (yes I see consistent bad parenting as a mental disorder). It's ecause we recognise our worst moments in those persons. Humanity is in a constant struggle between crazy and suppressing crazy, to desensitise ourselves. I can't help but think that the world is so fucked up because we never took time to do what gary is doing. talk about shit selflessly. to expose the state of our own dysfunctional behavior. Even those who "succeed" tend to have something to prove to their "ego" . Social media really is causing a shift in our consciousness. We are finally having a bird eye view towards the anonymous identity we carry in our hearts. All religions spoke about the problems we are facing today.
Humanity is not evil. humanity is crazy. And it's time to accept it. Not suppress it. How can we heal is the real question. We need to look each other up again! talk more! seek kindness and love intensely.
no really. look at all those companies now wanting to dominate tik tok- a childrens playground! why do big companies need to brainwash kids to get what they have! It's borderline insane. this love of money is seeping into our DNA and making us blind to the safety and decensy we pass down to generations to come.

WRONG!!! Parents care only about their kids. Their health, their education, their success. And their position in society depends on how successfully they get along with others.
The first time I see that guy. His message is clear and I share it, but… Why so much "fucking"? So many unnecessary emotions, clearly calculated. All of this could be said in a much calmer tone and reach to a broader audience.
Telling someone they suck at something, when they suck and explaining they need to put in the time and work to be great is so simple, yet so effective.
we live in a world where people openly give a fuck about what others think. I have friends who make their own life really hard in order to impress others who mean…..fuckall and who add no value. I raise my child differently to most and wont let her follow the shitty path of most negative weak minded people but im sourrounded by the fuckers. don't want to lick your hairy ass Gary but your a champ

Agree completely!!! Wanted to share this with my parents but the sad thing is they won't understand, they will think that I am ungrateful.
biggest issue is entitlements- kids are growing- not growing up- but growing and growing soft- last place doesn't deserve a medal….
