  1. Really needed to hear the part about being everything that you are. I've been fighting the "niche" concept in my mind. I have a podcast and a coaching business but they don't always cover the same topics. I try to make them flow but then I feel like I'm getting away from why I started the podcast in the first place which is to break the stigma around mental health, help others feel less alone, inspire and motivate.

  2. You want to enter the new year in a positive mindset and you want to feel excited about what’s coming up for you. When you enter the new year focused on all the things that didn’t go well the year before you set yourself up for more disappointment.

  3. Thank you Gary. ❤️ The young man sharing about the challenge of living through his father’s recovery, really melted my heart. I’m a specialist psychotherapist and I have some resources that might be useful for him, and anyone in a similar position. I hope this is okay Gary, none of these resources are actually my own, but they have been approved by me, a clinical professional. Hope someone finds them useful. Apply all these to yourself, if you like. Recovery from tough childhoods is a great deal about learning to parent yourself It stinks that you have to do this – ever – but especially, if you’re still, actually a kid. But ultimately, I agree with Gary’s simple message and tough love. You can only work with the cards you’re dealt in life. Good luck.

I HIGHLY recommend anything by Dr. Dan Siegel. He has a channel on YouTube and has written several excellent books. His parenting books might be useful.

  4. It's a sweeping generalization to call this the hardest year of life. There have been many years that led to us to this moment. We choose to negate that fact. I like Gary, but just because he says everything with such authority, doesn't mean it's all gospel.

  5. I think posting 3 times a day is not a permanent solution to the reach problem This problem was bound to occur and it'll only grow in future. The only thing that can get you better traction is better content. Content that makes people keep coming back for more. And eventually getting famous on internet won't be easy as it is today.

  6. Why would i try to empower youtube and google? If they're out to destroy small business ? the political system about to be employed will destroy the economy and middle class. The united states is about to fall. You escaped communisms to flourish in a captialistic society, just to empower the very thing you left behind? Its destitute to think of hope. All in vain. Thank you gary youre a great person.
