A woman, an entrepreneur, a social reformer and most significantly, a mother. Human civilisation is whizzing towards industrialisation and approaching resource deprivation at a further alarming rate, in such times, Anamika Sengupta is credited as a pioneer of the contribution women can make towards endeavours that will sustain the world as we know it. Anamika Sengupta is a momprenuer, a victim of corporate patriarchy and a social entrepreneur, who decided to start Almitra Sustainables, a green company to ensure that we leave a greener world for the future generations. She started her journey as an entrepreneur and motherhood together dreaming of an inclusive and safe environment to work. She is the recipient of numerous leadership awards. One thing to note is that she has lived a plastic free life for more than a decade.
