Here’s Great Tip: Minds on Fire–Inside the Mind of an Entrepreneur: Adam Arredondo at TEDxWyandotte
Here is Something You Should See…
Adam Arredondo is the CEO & Co-founder of Local Ruckus and Co-leader of Kansas City Startup Village (KCSV). His passion for entrepreneurship and startups is only matched by his love of Kansas City. Those passions mixed with a large dose of serendipity have thrust him into the heart of the Kansas City’s exciting entrepreneurial movement. Adam, his fellow entrepreneurs and Kansas City have a once in a life time opportunity sparked by the launch of Google Fiber and he is determined to do his part to make the most of it. Most people envision entrepreneurs as individuals that start businesses. Often times, they are right. However, that is simply an outcome of a much more fundamental trait of entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship grows out of an individual’s burning desire to challenge, be challenged and confront challenges. The status quo is not an option.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

The Monomyth or heroic myth is the basis of all human culture. It's THE oldest story. It also arose all over the planet even among cultures completely disconnected. That tells you it's a basic part of human nature. See Joseph Campbell for more on this. It's also know as the sacrificial or savior myth. It was the original definition of how a human becomes a success. It's also completely at odds with the capitalist definition of success.
Interesting aproach
This is pure bullshit.
Never trust anybody using the word entrepreneur. They are trying to cover up the fact that they are hustlers. Calling them businessmen is bad enough. They want to get more out then they put in. Thats the definition of profit and it is the complete opposite of the heroic myth where the hero puts in more than he gets out.
When everybody is concerned with getting more than they put in the system runs down . It's like draining a battery.
