Here is Something You Should See…

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

  1. This is so fascinating. There are studies on what predicts a successful serial entrepeneur. There is a direct correlation with IQ. No surprise there. Direct in in trait conscientious, no surprise there. High in openness is also important but there are diminishing returns. If you're TOO high in openness, you tend to have too many ideas. And that causes the serial entrepeneur to continuously switch industries, which is a bad idea. If a silicon valley serial entrepeneur switches to the oil industry, he will lack industry knowledge and experience. He can read 30 books about the industry. But that's nothing compared to decades of knowledge and experience.
