Logan studied business at University and married two of his passions: Entrepreneurship and Live Events to create his business Highly Flammable. Successful and challenging this business consumed him, as he built it to a successful level.

Then Logan discovered the world of digital nomads. People who work digitally, allowing them to roam the planet, maximise their experiences and live a life that is the envy of every person stuck in a cubicle for 8 hours a day.

However Logan discovered that as enviable as it might sound, once the novelty wears off this lifestyle has it’s downfalls as well. So Logan set out to find the recipe that can blend lifestyle with meaningful work. This journey has seen him go full circle and offers some insight and shortcuts for those of us asking similar questions.

30-year-old entrepreneur Logan Elliott chooses to live his life between the blurred lines of work and play – and he wouldn’t have it any other way. Over the past decade he has journeyed up erupting volcanoes at sunrise and has been paid to breathe fire over 20,000 people. He’s danced with Giorgio Armani whilst on stilts and hung out with Sir Richard Branson.

He currently spends his time between running his entertainment company and organising global retreats for entrepreneurs and has helped dozens create their own businesses over the past three years. This kiwi lad from Christchurch is living his best life. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at
