Here is Something You Should See…
TEDxLondonBusinessSchool 2012
About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Why didn't the West come up with the Padmachine from India's Arunachalam Muruganantham? The same reason India did not come up with Microsoft.
Inspiring, Revelatory.
hey friends amazingly I came upon Dhoom3 full length cinema. you can see it type this snipurl.com_HASH
I agree, traditionally in the US it was a low class jobs typically done by non-college educated workers. People who are college educated typically will not like to work in a call centre production environment.
well India has always been capital intensive.. we love innovation 😉
BS Indian kids want to work in call center!! the attrition rate is so high.. that's why call centers are failing in India
I would like to enlighten you on Srinivasa Ramanujan
Ground-breaking mathematics = invention
was hoping for a lot more data. without that, you can't really corroborate anything.
Ok, we work for people who pay us less,
Big question: when will we work for an company of India who exports mobiles, computers to India?
Answer: we didnt even have people who hired us but they did.. so we will make a samsung, acer,Hp and even a Appple
i went to US like a month ago, dont tell me obama is a magician to make US homeless and poverty free in a month!!
search for Mr. Bart Jannsens speech at the OPPI Conclave in google
hey
The leadership of the major companies is not Indian. The Indian heads are freaking puppets who do what they are told to do. Invention does not exist in India. Tell me one ground breaking book written by an Indian-Indian regarding new visible/invisible product/process innovation or invention. There is tremendous amount of misrepresentation in this video. The local Indian heads of R&D are not the RD heads of the multi-national.
Also, living in Seattle and doing what I do as a Media Educator I know a lot of folks over at Microsoft and there are ton, probably nearly 50% of the designers and engineers are East Indian. My school is next door to RealNetwroks and easily 50% of the team there is from East India
WHy do you say that his position is specious, if you mean that Google and other you listed do not have East Indian innovators then you are not correct. Just based of names alone and identy presented at Google from the senior leadership and Executive Officers: Nikesh Arora, Amit Singhal, Salar Kamangar, Sridhar Ramaswamy, Sundar Pichai, Vic Gundotra. You need to look deeper at the teams and remove your blinders
I just laughed when Nirmalya asked that question at the end xD
people are dieing in the streets from hunger
its not the R&D heads he said. he said the ones who are introduced to them as key developers. The understanding from that statement is that innovators are indians.
The title for this presentation on ted.com is 'India's invisible innovation'. Why is it named 'India's new entrepreneurs' on youtube? x
that is quite an eye-opener.
So… we should end free trade ASAP?
lets talk proud about ourselves and do nothing.. good for us..
TOOK ER JERBS !
could have been 4 times shorter
nothing new!!! just a sombre glorification
Is IBM an American or an Indian company? X-D
Nah just be happy with as it is, you dont need that, neither china need it. Just enjoy development and have good life standarts, ruling the world is good for US let em suffer it for another 1000 years noone wants that.
I hope India and china rule the world once
Not really.. You do not promote people from bottom up always.. I have seen this in practice..
