Here is Something You Should See…

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Serial entrepreneur and founder of My Luck Club, Phyllis Pierce, discusses why entrepreneurs should follow their own timetable to achieve startup success.

Phyllis Pierce is the founder and CEO of My Luck Club – myluckclub.com, a patent-pending website that provides a financial and social incentive for people to help one another find what they need, including jobs, homes, services, collectibles, even love.
Phyllis is an experienced entrepreneur with two prior successful startups — a television production company and a gourmet pie company and café — Apple Mountain Pie Company. My Luck Club received initial funding from Connecticut Innovations, and was named 2013 Tech Company to Watch by the Connecticut Technology Council. Last year, Phyllis was recognized as an innovator, mentor and role model by Women of Innovation.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
