Having spent the last three years immersed in the London tech startup scene Matthew has seen at first hand the importance and value of a diverse, trusted and loyal network. He is co-founder of the international networking group @9others and the startup accelerators @Collider12 and @StudentUpstarts. In 20011 he created @ycldn, the only event to bring Y Combinator to London.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
