  1. In today's world, critical thinkers are few and the real problem from that is that those few critical thinkers are not in government positions of power. Women and men who have critical thinking like her ought to be the political elite leaders but for an unknown reason, they are not.

  2. Look at the statistics. Just because you live in a first world country where everything is better for women, it does not mean patriarchy does not exist. This MeToo that you shame, has led to MeToo in other countries where it was very much needed. Men ARE oppressors. That does not mean women aren't. It means that the solution is not to make your girls confident. It is to make your sons better human beings.

  3. She got really great points. Less endulgence of victimhood, less " I can't do this because 'those' powers said so." and more encouragement to get out there and just chase your goals. More confidence to rise despite any push against them.
This is severly lacking in modern day feminism and I believe most open feminists somewhat know that issue, yet don't recognize it. Hence why you can sometimes see rather weird approaches in building empowerment for women.
More confidence, less victimhood. We can and should ofcourse recognise the many issues, inequalities and difference that excist in the world and do what we can to truely make the world an equal world for everybody. Victimhood as a personality trait is not the way. Confidence is.
    Very interesting TedTalk!

  4. I understand her points here and men do face some social justice issues but women still face a lot more. I do not devalue what you have been through but women have to deal with so much. Its just that men have never experienced these things and they don't understand. I don't want to feel special or oppressed I just want people to respect me and my right to do with my life and body as I please. We need to just see women as people and stop seeing them as "other". Most of the problems men face are somehow connected or caused by sexism against women. We are all human and we need to forget about our differences and see each other as such. Also other people gaining more rights does not affect you. Just because women are in more positions of power does not mean that they didn't work a lot harder to get there in first place. Support feminism and women and fight toxic masculinity, and we can make the world a better place.

  5. FEMINISTS: We want equality!!
MEN: Sounds great! Let's start with giving women the same prison sentences as men, giving men equal custody of their children, combating female violence, supporting male victims, signing women up for the dra-
FEMINISTS: No, not that kind of equality.

  6. Great Solutions however your trying to fix something it was intentionally made broken. Feminism was created as psyops to weaken the family help better control the proletariat… trying to fix something that was intended to harm doesn't really make a lot of sense

  7. As a working class man coming from poverty, abuse, and many multiple Adverse Childhood Experiences, I have supported myself at honest hard labour since leaving home at 15. This presentation does a good job of presenting the new layers of Adversities faced by Men like Myself. I can certainly relate to having my achievements written off to some other factor, such as "White Male Privilege". Try walking my walk, before you make such a prejudiced assumption. I doubt that most of you who talk that way could manage it at all.

  8. I did not come here to watch this video. I came here to mock the question. It is years too late.
Modern feminism was undermined from the beginning.
I'm an egalitarian. I believe men and women should be treated as equals under the law, in the workplace, and in social life.
The first of those, always. The latter two, only should they wish to be.
Having said that: Modern feminism is and has been a joke for years. It has always been about feelings over facts. They push for reforms that aren't problems with the system, but actual differences in gender. If fewer women want to be engineers, then of course there are fewer women engineers. This is not a problem that needs fixing.
On the other hand, there are places where men get the short end of the stick, like divorce settlements and custody battles.
It's not sexism to point that out. It's merely pointing out an inequality.
