Nicole’s difficult experiences with venture capitalists triggered her next obsession – a better way to fund entrepreneurs. This TEDx Talk shares the first discovery in Nicole’s journey. Loftus is an author, speaker and a frequent guest faculty member at Chicago Public Schools and Northwestern University. Nicole has served as a mentor to many entrepreneurs, some through The Clinton Foundation and The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE).

  1. Great structure to this talk. Her message is simple but you have to wait. It always amuses me when people say 'I'm not political' or 'I don't support that thing' when their actions dictate that they do. Be more aware of your world and the agendas you are tacitly supporting. You and your choices do make a huge difference to the world we live in. Good decisions today will lead to a brighter tomorrow for us all.
