Diaspora networks are a large resource for many countries in the global south. In this talk, Keith Nurse outlines how so people have been able to leverage those networks to build strong business opportunities.
Dr. Keith Nurse can be described as an academic entrepreneur who uses his training and expertise in global political economy, trade policy, innovation governance and creative entrepreneurship to promote social change and economic transformation. Keith is an expert member of the Economic Development Advisory Board of Trinidad and Tobago; regionally, he is the Chair of CaribbeanTales Worldwide Distribution and former Executive Director of the UWI Consulting Inc. at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica and the Shridath Ramphal Centre, Barbados; and internationally he serves as an expert and member of the executive bureau for the UN Committee for Development Policy.
