But it has also created some signs of hope – signs that it is possible for us to live, maybe even thrive, in a very different way – and one that is less destructive, and one that could transform our society for the better.

What ever TED is pro for, America will be better off in the opposite. TED has sold out to America's enemies. Plain and simple.
But nothing points at there even being any pandemic. Other than the normal variation of the flu that strikes every year.
Maybe that's the time to see deep inside us, to grow mentally and reworking our actions about the environment that we live.
Forgot to mention murder and suicide up by 2167% (excess deaths "not" due to Covid).
You are a climate change moron. The Australian bush fires are not due to CO2.
We are in an ice age (Quaternary) so stop being surprised when climate varies towards Earth norms. CO2 is re-greening the planet.
The lockdown is killing people. The broken economies will go on killing people, particularly in less developed countries. The light at the end of the tunnel is that we may come out of the ice age.
Put facts into your bias and you will rewrite your narrative.
