Creativity is often seen as child’s play rather than the powerful force for change that it truly is. Creativity is love in action. It is the energy that can take us from surviving to thriving as we partner with it to solve the problems in our lives and our world. Each of us has the power to become the hero of our own life story if we embrace our unique calling, look out into our world with love, and work with creativity to overcome the challenges we face. In this inspiring and empowering talk, storyteller and creative coach Esther Wane, encourages us to grow up and get creative; asking us to connect with creativity, hold its hand as we take a step of faith into the unknown, and become the creative heroes we are meant to be.
Esther Wane is a Storyteller and Creative Coach.
As a child, Esther was highly creative, however, when she became an adult she put away the creativity of her childhood and picked up a successful career in an investment bank. While this gave her status and security, it did not bring satisfaction.
After the birth of her child, she developed her own creative practice and has become an award winning and in demand audiobook narrator with over 120 credits to her name. She has worked to combine her skills in business and creativity. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at
