In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

  1. This is a cool but false dichotomy, similar to the MBTI, they are just different axises that any person can have say a 0-100 range on, and the sum of the area/cross product like a business IQ similar to EQ or IQ. ANY person CAN strengthen any of these areas (well likely) and knowing when to use each of these strategies is a definition of human capability in the face of pain and gain, certainty and risk.
