Here’s Great Tip: Coding Is for everyone | Shehzad Noor Taus | TEDxDhaka

Here is Something You Should See…

You could solve your own problem better if you would have learned coding already! ‘Software innovation’ in your own discipline can bring faster and better changes.

Taus is a high school student, software developer and entrepreneur based in Dhaka. Starting to code at the age of 10 he soon became the youngest Zend Certified Engineer in the world of that time. He’s been involved in founding a few tech startups so far. He is the Founder and President of ITTW Conferences and the National Olympiad in Software Innovation (NOSI) through which he promotes computer programming and entrepreneurship in IT amongst high school, college and university students. Beside that, he is also the co-founder and CEO of a tech startup called Incogmito, that focuses on anonymous social networking.

  1. I am surprised how many people think "coding" covers everything. In actuality, it essentially just means the act of typing in "code" with a keyboard. It does NOT include a vast majority of other aspects of software development, such as design, engineering, testing, database communication. etc. And how many people think they are "teaching themselves" when actually they are learning from authors, videos, etc. It's not like they are sitting in an IDE and just figured every thing out (because they are sooo brilliant).

So whenever I hear someone saying they taught themselves to code, I immediately think they are not highly skilled.

  2. Mark Zukerberg: Programmer
    Bill Gates: Programmer
    Elon Musk: Programmer
    Steve Woznik: Programmer
    Creators of
YouTube, Google, Twitter, Uber, Snapchat, Instagram, Whatsapp….etc and the list goes on : all are Programmers

there are millions of people who know how to program and code, but only a handful of them can create something useful with their skills

so yes, programming can be for everybody, but it will always be the few who will innovate and bring new revolutionary application and software in the world
