Awesome Tip: Why Most of the World Is Delusional | DailyVee 509

It’s time we all pledge to stop handing out 8th place trophies.

The more we make our kids earn prizes, compliments, and praise … the less “soft” they’ll be when they get out into the market.

Super important concept here … it’s a theme I talk about a lot in today’s DailyVee.

  1. Reason why Gary Vee didn't publish his Phoenix AZ keynote….. because it sucked. Came in and talked for maybe 15 – 20 min, then went to lunch where he charged like $7000 a person to eat lunch with him. But its not about the money. You almost had me fooled G. But you just another Tai Lopez. You just wrap your audience into a different package.

  2. Gary is right about so many things, one of the best things that ever happened to me, in the long run, was when my sheltered and privileged childhood got interrupted by darkness. I am grateful for all I have learned even when how I learned it really sucked. I went from having no stress to being raped by a relative which completely mentally broke me for years. I ended up having a long road where I tried to cope with unhealthy things like addiction, cutting and then became suicidal. I survived that all to be beaten by someone I loved and then be diagnosed with multiple sclerosis…. (WTF is my life, some moments when I write more than one thing down I forget how much I survived.) I now find myself happier and more confident as ever as I figure out how to manage my health and be able to post more content online. I am so grateful to live in a time where a person can have the opportunity to create a career and business from home as a disabled person. And I am grateful that Gary is there for me those days I need the motivation while my video renders lol. FYI Shameless plug, my channel is all about the truth of my life and how I cope with it. Living in a delusional bubble hurts you and everyone else you interact with, I know this because I lived in one and I have met many people who were far more delusional than I was because they survived far worse trauma. Mental health in the USA and worldwide is a huge issue that might end up leading to the end of humanity if we don't start to recognize it for its truth. It doesn't matter how many times I sat there and said to myself that I was never raped or beaten, those emotional wounds were there on my bubble no matter what I wanted. I couldn't change the fact that for a moment I was the victim of a crime, but after I felt that and fully accepted it I was able to move through it to my truth and find who I am without that pain burdening my mind and soul. I now see that I was basically scared to face the one thing that was my key to mental freedom. The pain was information telling me that something is wrong and I need to change something. If we touch something hot and it burns we don't ignore it- we MOVE ASAP so we can change the situation and feel better. Mental hygiene helps as well (video on my channel for more on that if you are interested). Also, it makes us insecure when we know we are putting someone down because we know its a lie and unless we are a psycho we feel bad about hurting others. Mental health is so important and sadly it isn't as simple as the older ways of suppressing everything nor is it as simple as telling everyone they are great. Everyone needs different things and I find it more important to find different ways to cope that work for each of us and see it as an adventure to try new things. I hope you allow yourself to see the beauty all around you!

  3. GaryVee is the MAN. I've taken all of Gary's advice,

and now I'm on target to make a million

and doing my research, trying to make videos

so I've even just created a youtube channel to follow my progress.

I would some support/feedback so please check it out, please

  4. I strongly disagree with you in the beginning Gary Vee. If I struck out 900 times that doesn't mean I should give up baseball that just means I failed 900 times. How interesting it is though when you learn Edison failed 10,000 times and never gave up. I usually agree with gary vee but in this video I disagree with him because anyone can do anything they want to as long as they NEVER give up and in the beginning of this video gary vee seems to be discouraging that.

  5. I we create an environment where our kids are only winners all of the time, then how will they ever learn how to properly react to losing? Because they will lose at something at some point in their life. That's just a part of life. Coddling them when they are younger just to make them feel good is not doing them any favors! Kids are able to handle and comprehend way more than we as adults give them credit for. Yes, I as a mother get that I want to protect my child from every evil in the world and make sure they are happy all the time. But I also know the problems that arise when you take that ideology too far. No kid should live in a bubble. And honestly, no kid really wants to live in that bubble either. Teach them to lose graciously when they are young so that they can practice. That way, when they are grown and the losses actually matter, they will be able to move past them more quickly and turn those losses into successes.

  6. For some reason the description of YouTube channel for this video made me feel like shit especially when I realised the description looks like Gary's resume
It isn't complete but it tells what he has achieved without having to share it personally
