This is so true. I took a gap year before starting to study mainly because I dont know what to study. Really spent the last 6 month figuring out what I want to do and actually found things I love, but my family will force me into studying even though I dont need it for my current goals. I wanna be an entrepreneur so hard, because I just cant work for other people. Currently I am working two days a week in the insurance branche and I really like my colleagues and my boss, but I cant stand making 10€ and hour just to build someone elses business and doing things I don't really like doing.
If people care, why do they charge money for ideas. How do I eliminate what my brain perceives as pattern recognition. The pattern is pay up or tough luck, figure it out. (I'm sending this to everyone hoping for answers)
Don't you make more losses when you rent? I pay $1000 mortgage for my house right now, but rent outside is more than that…but I guess it's different from country to country.

Gary, I really disliked you for awhile, man. Though I still disagree with the 'crush it' and 'hustle' message and cringe when I hear newer entrepreneurs spout it, I've grown to love your energy and overall message. Patience and willing to live in squander to succeed – two things 99% of folks don't understand. I owned three properties, including a penthouse style condo in the middle of downtown at 26, but slept on the floor and couch of my parents' place to save cash for 2 years. Most recently, slept in a tent and shitted outside for another 2 years, working 14 hour days while solo-building my income property. Now living mortgage free in my dream home, and no job, while just one of my properties pays all my living expenses. Everything else is icing on the cake. Now I train/coach jiu jitsu, surf, travel and make content for youtube 24/7. Didn't know we had such similar philosophies. My bad. 🙂

I think that's what I'm facing now is happiness but I'm working on it. I know im not alone wit this but I get this pressure from myparents daily because I'm continuing to go about life and being successful a different way and they don't understand.

Owning my house is what is allowing me to build my business patiently. Otherwise here in Denver I’d be paying double for the same amount of space or pay the same for half the space. So I rent out 3 rooms live in the 4th, own the house & make a little profit. Don’t sell your crib, pimp it out!

My only problem with your views Gary, is i dont think you understand the role labor played in your profits. You talk shit about workers frequently, but reality is theyre getting taken advantage of. The employees of companies you advertised for should create union, and you would make less money. That's capitalism.
