Despite all of my flaws, what has had the most impact on my success is the fact that I listen. I listen to the market, I read peoples comments and impressions on social media and I am always observing patterns and trends in culture. If you aren’t out there listening to the world, you will not be able to give them what they want 😉

  1. there's an irony around self-awareness in that if you think you're self-aware, quite often, you probably aren't. To understand yourself better, self-reflection only gets you so far before you need data from other people. When you unquestionably believe you know yourself you run the risk of becoming blind.

  2. @GaryVee To me, the most interesting thing I saw in this video was the self-awareness of cutting people off during interviews. 3:45
probably had something to do with episode 185 with Seth Godin. Who I then discovered is an absolute fucking legend btw.
Why are you ahead? "because I read comments" "I listen" That's the Sauce. It's that fucking simple. And that's why I follow.

  3. I really enjoy GaryVee, he has a great mind; However, I’m not sure why he takes a shot at Brad Pitt and Angelina in this video. I understand what he’s saying in terms of A list celebs, but I believe that was uncalled for and immature. He did not have to say anything bad about them to get his point across, and I don’t even know anything about them I’m just a person who believes in not dragging down others regardless of what I may believe or think about them. Perhaps “winning” to them is that they come home each day and they’re happy?

  4. Anyone know anything about e sports? I’m really trying to take Gary’s advice and go for my passion but I just don’t know where to start. All my friends tell me I’m good at all the games that I play and I should try to do something with this. I’m just stuck on what to do! Please any advice would help thank you
