  1. Absolutely love watching Gary on stage he fires me up so much BUT…I can't watch him in conversation with someone one on one. He consistently asks a brilliant question and then doesn't give that person time to answer the question hes asked them, I have to turn off half way through every interview it's a shame

  2. Big fan of Gary Vee but knew this would be a frustrating watch. He asked some decent questions but didn’t give him time to answer before coming out with other random questions. Self awareness Gary, practice what you preach!

  3. Gary, if youre going to interview someone please let them speak. As the Interviewer you have to get to the point when asking your questions. When they speak, let them finish their thoughts before saying something back. If you wanted to talk 90% of the time why have an interview?

  4. What is Penny University?

In the 18 century, England established popular coffee houses where instead of paying for drinks, all one had to do was pay a penny to enter. Once they’ve entered, they had access to a great atmosphere, coffee and discussion.

For only a penny to pay, virtually everyone could afford to enter. It was a place where people shared their thoughts and ideas. It quickly became a breeding ground for conversation, no matter the social and economic status.

  5. Gary, you say comments are you oxygen – please read these. You gotta let the guest speak! Not only is your constant interrupting disrespectful, it’s impossible to listen to. So much great content was left on the table here.

  7. Comments about Gary cutting him off – Go watch McCanoughay on all his other interviews on the book and you will get to hear what you didn't hear here. Gary's method gets to questions and responses you wouldn't otherwise hear, or maybe you would. Does it really matter? Just two good guys talking, and we get the benefit of hearing their conversation.

  8. I had unsubscribed to this channel because I was kinda tired of hype-yourself content. This interview brought me back, subbed again. Gary will be spewing the same shit his whole life because he’s speaking TIMELESS TRUTHS! Great interview, really made Matthew comfortable and open to rap.

  9. I love you Gary so I hope you don't take this too personal. But it would be wise to "Put your questions in a box" All of your questions were great but because your such a genius we get lost in your multifaceted 5 part questions and ultimately your guest (Matthew) ends up answer only one of them. Second tip: Wait for him to finish his thought and jump in at they end of his thought. Lastly, I loved your interview and my tips are probably trash. #livemighty

  10. Selfish and Selfless are not contradiction. Absolutely! And we definitely misunderstood it along the way. But not so long ago Adam Smith said: "It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own self-interest." (the key is where they both intersect! That is: yeah I expect to get something from selling my beer, but I desperately want you to have the happiest time of your life by drinking it!)
