My parents want me to become a doctor and tell me to study. I am not interested to be honest. They think I am lazy as I dont revise and study. I feel rather I am bored and have apathy for studying. How did you feel when you were a student and what should I do with my situation? Am I actually lazy or just bored af? This is extremely bothering me.

People will not address problems due to fear of retaliation, fired, and being held back from future promotions. I am a business owner and a full time employee. I've made valid suggestions on issues and gave resolutions to these problems. I was told stop complaining lol or just doe what is asked. even if it's incorrect I've Also, gone to HR in numerous companies on various harassment issues. Your boss is called and told before you can get back to the office or it's never addressed. All of my experience with speaking up has been negative. I am not a yes person and these days companies prefer the people who will do as they are told and not ask questions or challenge the decisions being made even if their challenge is valid. As I grow my business, I will not operate in this way.
