I know that there are a handful of you that are probably also trying to run media accounts or create brands in a similar way to Dose of Society, so I think that the bit on running your brand as a service-based business and then making it an advertising-based business afterwards would be very interesting and beneficial. In the same way that I created VaynerMedia (a service-based business) and then bought PureWow (an advertising-based business) afterwards. Watch what I do, not what I say 😉

Please don't use the lav mic so close to your throat and mouth, it catches up so many unwanted noises. i would recommend in those types of setups, placing the mic on the table.
What does he mean by service-based business vs advertising based business? I have gone back to hearing him repeatedly but I don't understand what he means by it. Anyone help? Thanks!
Ask the people on the street, BUT NOT SUPPOSED SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCERS. The latter will shut you down so quickly, after an initial surge, you'll be wondering what on earth happened — and rightly so to being shut down; not to your wondering why.
