I haven't asked for or taken a dime of outside money for my business and I'm growing consistently. Social media and word of mouth go a long way. Goes without saying, the product/service must be good enough to sell itself and customer service must be excellent at all times with no exceptions.

I didn't want to get rid of the blackberry. My employer stopped supporting it and forced us to switch to iPhones.
